The Abbey of the Holy Trinity is an 11th century Romanesque Benedictine abbey located in Lessay, in the English Channel. She is one of the jewels of this period preserved in Normandy. It is one of the rare Norman abbeys that did not undergo destruction in the nineteenth century, but on the other hand, the church was totally destroyed in 1944.
The Romanesque abbey, a listed building, was founded in the 11th century by the Barons of La Haye-du-Puits. It was one of the first buildings to be entirely vaulted over intersecting ribs.
