AAUW’s Dissertation Fellowship is part of the American Fellowships program, which provides fellowships for eight consecutive weeks to women pursuing full-time study to complete dissertations, conducting postdoctoral research full time or preparing research for publication.
Retain these instructions as they will become part of the fellowship contract if the applicant is awarded a fellowship. An AAUW Selected Professions Fellow is expected to pursue a full-time course of study during the fellowship year July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021. No partial fellowships are awarded. Fellowships may not be deferred.
